Description
The Heukiste was developed for horse owners who value clean, safe, well-thought-out hay feeding. It lets horses eat in a natural posture with a low head position while also helping keep hay stored cleanly.
Especially on paddocks, pastures, and in stable areas, hay is often scattered, trampled, or ruined by moisture. The Heukiste reduces these issues with its sturdy construction, closed design, and integrated drainage and ventilation openings in the lower section. Rainwater drains away better, moisture is reduced, and cleaning is easier.
Full hot-dip galvanizing makes the Heukiste weather-resistant and durable. Its high dead weight and specially shaped feet keep it stable. In the feeding area, round tubes without sharp edges are used, reducing the risk of injury for horses.
If you want, you can combine the Heukiste with a hay net to slow down eating. You can also attach a long water trough.
