Why Heukiste instead of a regular hay feeder?
As is often the case in family businesses: ideas are discussed at the dinner table and suddenly something is created! That’s how our Heukiste came to be. Our family business brings together engineers and equestrians under one roof.
We wanted to develop a hay feeder that is smarter. Smarter, for example, through the drainage and ventilation outlets visible at the bottom. Rain is immediately drained through the outlets, preventing the hay from spoiling. Plus: the Heukiste is also easier to clean than a regular hay feeder.
The Heukiste is also adaptable.
We offer it in two variants:

Safety for our beloved four-legged friends was also a focus during development. The round tubes attached at the top have no edges or weld seams. This is not always the case with cheaply manufactured hay feeders.
